Term and Conditions:

These terms and conditions govern your installation and subscription payment to Ezytrack and form part of the general terms and conditions governing the material on, use of and access to Ezytrack products. We may change these terms at any time in its sole discretion. You are responsible for ensuring that you regularly review these terms and any other notices or communications made by us relating to our system.

  1. Ezytrack hardware carries a 12 month repair or replacement warranty from date of installation.

  2. Ezytrack cannot be held responsible for the loss of any personal belongings in the vehicle during installation or service.

  3. The client is responsible for the upkeep of the hardware, and cannot hold Ezytrack liable for any type of damage, tampering, malfunction, or similar that can be attributed to the unit not being used or maintained in the correct manner.

  4. In the event of the hardware developing a fault within the first 12 months from date of installation, Ezytrack will either repair or replace the unit free of charge. However the warranty does not apply if the hardware has been tampered with, modified or been subject to water damage or misuse.

  5. Before installation of hardware the client shall ensure that the vehicle has a working power source to power the hardware. Should this power source be removed or disconnected from the vehicle it will affect the operation of the hardware. The client shall take full responsibility of any outcome resulting from the disconnection.

  6. Installation of hardware does not affect the operation of the vehicle, the computers or electrics. However, if proved beyond reasonable doubt, that the installation has caused a malfunction in the vehicle, Ezytrack will rectify the problem at no cost to the client. If a fault is reported to Ezytrack that was not caused by the hardware the client will be liable for costs incurred.

  7. By signing the Vehicle Check List on completion of installation it is understood that the client has accepted the installation and that the vehicle is in working order.

  8. Removal of hardware from one vehicle and reinstallation into another vehicle will incur a charge.

  9. Ezytrack will not be held responsible for defective workmanship and any consequential damage to the vehicle.

  10. It is the client’s responsibility to inform any third party drivers of the vehicle that has been fitted with hardware that the vehicle is been monitored remotely and data is been collected.

  11. Network sim cards remain the property of Ezytrack.

  12. The client will be held responsible for any unplanned expenses or abuse of the sim card.

  13. Ezytrack relies on third party GSM/GPRS network and will not be held responsible for delays, defect or failure due to network difficulties.

  14. The username and password must only be used by one user. Any unauthorized usage must be reported to Ezytrack immediately. Ezytrack will not be held responsible for any loss incurred due to unauthorized use.

  15. Whilst every effort will be made, Ezytrack cannot guarantee the recovery of a vehicle. Ezytrack will provide one free recovery effort but will not be accountable for any additional costs involved i.e. guarding of vehicle, medical evacuation, provision of alternative transport, etc.

  16. Ezytrack reserves the right to suspend or disconnect tracking and other related services if the client is in default of payment.

  17. Ezytrack reserves the right to recover any out-standing amounts through debt-collection mediums and the client is liable for all legal fees.

  18. We reserve the right to change the fees charged for services or products offered in connection with Ezytrack at any time and notification of any such changes will be given to you 30 days prior. These sorts of changes include, but are not limited, to adding fees for new or optional products or modification of existing products.

  19. In the event of termination of tracking for whatever reason, the client has 30 (thirty) days to settle their account in full.

  20. Ezytrack will not accept any liabilities caused or passed on by its subcontractors.

  21. If a vehicle is sold the Client is responsible for arranging the removal of the tracking unit at a pre appointed time at a designated Ezytrack center.

  22. Ezytrack will not be held responsible for any costs, losses or damages of any nature as a result of the breach of the above mentioned warranties.

  23. Any bad debt incurred by Ezytrack for subsidized units fitted under insurance or financial models entitles Ezytrack to recover and confiscate the unit and vehicle for purposes of recovering the debt.

Please note that Ezytrack requires a copy of the Vehicle Registration book for every vehicle that is fitted with a tracking device. This must be presented with the application form.
